Children’s Pajama Yoga Class
Join Avril for a cozy, pre-bedtime yoga class designed especially for children ages 5–9. This playful and calming class includes gentle movement, games, stories, mindfulness, and a little rest time to help kids wind down and build tools for emotional balance and self-regulation. Children are invited to wear soft, comfy pajamas (no nightgowns please), bring a yoga mat, a towel or favorite blanket, and a beloved stuffed toy. A warm cup of chamomile tea will be shared at the end of class to complete the evening. Parents and guardians are also invited to wear their p'js!
Avril is a local musician, retired professional librarian, and experienced yoga teacher trained in Vinyasa, Chair Yoga, and Children’s Yoga. She is also a Usui Reiki Master and may even bring her guitar for a few gentle songs. Accompanying grown-ups are welcome to observe the class or relax in the shop, but are asked to remain on the premises. Avril will feature a special introductory rate of $10 as we launch this new program.

The Great Ohio City Plant Swap!
The first-ever Great Ohio City Plant Swap is bringing plant lovers together for a neighborhood-wide celebration of plants, community, creativity, and local exploration. Taking place across 25+ participating businesses throughout Ohio City, this all-day event is designed to encourage connection, sustainability, and support for small businesses in the neighborhood.
Participants are invited to bring healthy, potted plants, seedlings, seed packets, or bulbs labeled with their name and basic care information to any participating location. In exchange, guests will receive a wooden swap token for each item they contribute. Tokens can then be used at any participating stop to trade for a different plant, creating a fun and flexible plant-swapping experience throughout the neighborhood.
Printed event maps will help guide visitors from stop to stop, encouraging guests to explore Ohio City, discover new local businesses, and connect with fellow plant enthusiasts along the way. If you don’t find the perfect plant at one location, simply continue to another participating business and use your token there.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a wagon, tote, box, basket, or reusable container to safely carry plants throughout the day!
